Neutral in Burberry

Burberry has been a fashion staple for quite some time now. Fall is the perfect time to bring out their endlessly popular print, so I styled my Reversible Vintage Check Car Coat with their Margot Sunglasses from Sunglass Hut. I wanted a look that was classic, yet unexpected and adding these mesh pocket trousers gave it the right touch. I found these while doing the infamous death scroll through inspirational fashion images and came across this designer I fell in love with - Elisabetta Franchi.

My neck-tie blouse is an oldie-but-goodie that’s been in my wardrobe for years. I wanted an extra touch of femininity and I feel like it took my outfit up a notch.

For my boots, I continued with the neutral feel with a semi-casual boot with a low block heel. These were a great find for the season since they’re surprisingly SO comfortable for city walking. This boot is called Winnie in the color Ivory (yes they also come in black). They’re by Sam Edelman, but these were bought from Zappos, you can check them out here. So often I wanted to feel more dressed up but certainly not wanting to wear high heels and not quite wanting to wear sneakers either. These are in a Vanilla color with brown heel, perfect for trousers or dressing up jeans or a long dress.
