#OOTD Cozy Knit Skirt Set

I love a cozy Fall outfit, even more when it’s a set. Ribbed knits are also incredibly forgiving, they’re stretchy and easily adjust to body changes. I typically like to size down in these types of fabrics since I like a fitted look and depending on the blend, they stretch over time. My favorite part is it’s affordability - it’s from H&M!

The simplest way I can describe my everyday style is probably Elevated Casual. It’s not as laid back as leggings and a t-shirt, but it’s also not a 3-piece suit. I like to feel comfortable yet “dressed” so I feel put-together. This doesn’t even mean I have to do my makeup to feel complete for a normal day. I honestly prefer no makeup, a simple hairdo, and let my outfit do the talking. But for today, light glam it is.

So let’s get into the look! This was such an easy outfit to put together since I styled these separates as a set. The sweater has a mock neck turtleneck and slightly bubbled sleeves, which I pushed up for a more relaxed feel. The mermaid skirt is high-waisted and fitted with the most gorgeous flare at the bottom. It’s not quite a maxi length, rather it falls in the lower shin area, so I felt knee high boots were perfect. And the cutest neutral Floater Bag by Otrera via The Porterist.

To add some contrast, I wore these snake knee-high boots I got from Amazon The Drop. The browns bring warmth to this otherwise monotone look.

The Jewelry

Gold jewelry has taken over my accessory drawer. I have a neutral undertone, so I can really do silver or gold, but I tend to favor the latter. All of these pieces are by Melinda Maria, who’s designs are modern and luxurious, but without the hefty price tag. I went for a slightly layered look with a herringbone chain, a pearl pendant necklace, a dainty infinity pearl necklace, a chain link bracelet, and chunky hoops. Once again, it’s really about me adding warmth and depth into the creamy tones I’m wearing.

This is the type of look that I’ll wear on repeat but styled in different ways. I want to build my Fall/Winter capsule wardrobe of simple pieces that don’t go out of style, that way each season it’s easy to get dressed in something I can’t go wrong with. I’ve been leaning so much more into classy and timeless pieces that reflect my personal growth in my 30s.
