NYFW: Street Chic in Loza Maleombho

Okay, okay, okay… First off, I knew the moment I saw this outfit on Loza’s page, I HAD to have it. Like, it was an actual necessity and I couldn’t rest until it was safe in my home. I reached out to Loza to style this piece for NYFW and I immediately knew it was gonna be a banger.

Outfit: Loza Maléombho, Shoes: Loza Maléombho, Bag: Silver & Riley, Earrings: Alexis Bittar

This look is two pieces, I believe the top is technically a mini dress and the pants are basically a skirt with legs. On par with lots of the brand’s hardware, she used gold faces in lieu of buttons. Personally I’m all for the decorative faces because it elevates the small details THAT much more. My shoes are also by Loza Maleombho. I purchased these a few years back and tend to save them for extra fun outfits for an added punch of color and texture. They have a deep red fringe and white block heels.

I wore this look to the Fashion Bomb Daily runway show since they’re big in promoting black-owned brands. I felt it was only right I showed up in something immaculate as this. By the way, I hope I get extra brownie points for making it happen rain or shine! We love a rainy street style photo, but it’s not always as fun when you’re the subject in it.
