Ombré Homage

If I have to get dressed everyday, I want to at least have fun with it. When I saw this ombré skirt set on Porterist, I immediately knew I had to have it. This shade of orange and cream paired together reminds me of a creamcicle (yum!), so that makes it even more appropriate for Spring - refreshing and vibrant.

What’s better than the perfect bag to match? One that’s listed on the same site so you don’t have to pay extra shipping! This one is by Otrera and truly is my new favorite. It’s one of those pieces that are even more luxurious in person. It has a squishy look, but when you hold it you can feel in the structure just how great the quality is.

I always get excited when I come across sets where the pieces as separates can shine broken up into other outfits.

Since this outfit is so bold, I kept accessories *fairly* minimal… okay, they’re not minimal at all, but at least they are in tone. I stuck with neutral colors (tan and copper) for that warm feel. My glasses are Burberry in the style ‘Margot’. The floral metal necklace is from Zara, which for me was SOOO surprising because it’s so unique and quite the piece of art. Each time I wear it someone stops to ask where it’s from, and yes, they’re always just as surprised as I was. My shoes are also from Zara, they have a low block heel and woven toe. Truly a solid style to get me through Spring, Summer, and early Fall.
