Pops of Neon

What better way to turn heads than with blinding neon? Ditch those dreaded grey, moody days this season. The pop of neon trend for Spring 2019 was perhaps the most noticeable one, so much so that it’s carrying throughout the Fall and Winter months. These highlighter colors go a long way, so styling them in moderation is the key to keeping it chic.

I wanted to add some vibrance to my already not-so-basic Commando patent leather midi skirt, so I started by layering with this neon lime ‘Donatella‘ blazer. I prefer to have certain pieces tailored to keep things polished – blazers are ALWAYS in that category for me. Next, I added on another neon hue (bold fuschia) for a little color-blocking moment. These ‘Talk That Talk‘ neon pink, leopard, and zebra sandals led me to want to include prints to give a little something extra. I picked out this newsprint bodysuit from Amazon (here) and a wild Patricia Field clutch.
